The Indian Scout Rogue was introduced earlier this year, alongside the Scout Rogue Sixty, making the two the latest additions to the Scout range and the 2022 Indian Motorcycle portfolio. Both models feature similar stylistic cues and are most notably differentiated by their engines.
At the heart of the Scout Rogue is a 1,133cc engine that produces 100 hp and 72 lb-ft of torque. This engine also powers multiple other models in the Indian Motorcycle lineup. It is a favorite amongst riders looking for a rumbling V-twin with a strong mid-range and top-end. Like most Indian motorcycles, power is transmitted to the rear via belt drive.
The new Indian Scout Rogue distinguishes itself from the rest of the Scout lineup with its bold styling. The defining elements include a quarter fairing, mini ape-hanger handlebars, a solo seat, blacked-out fenders and valve covers, and a 19-inch front wheel. The American manufacturer mentions that the Scout Rogue combines “iconic design with contemporary style,” which certainly appears to be the case.
Prospective buyers will also have the option to equip their bike with several accessories, including adjustable piggyback rear shocks that allow you to easily dial-in compression and rebound damping.
The 2022 Indian Scout Rogue is available in six color schemes — Black Metallic, Black Smoke, Black Smoke Midnight, Sagebrush Smoke, Storm Blue, and Stealth Gray — with the Black Metallic also available without the option of ABS.
